I’m a bit late on this as I just received the latest special edition issue from Color Magazine. The Green Issue features 100% recycled paper and includes a subscription card with help from the Solitary Arts.
Subscribe and for a limited time, receive an organic cotton shirt while supplies last.
Also, they’ve got a contest going on through March 12, 2009 featuring Todd Francis’ illustration where you can write a little story that accompanies the drawing with a fat prize package from Element if you come up with something clever, funny, environmentally conscious or all of the above.
The original is available for sale on the Equal Dist. site and is currently installed at Stanley H. Siu’s practice in the Mills Building within the financial district of San Francisco. You’ll find the entire four-set series consisting of Wind, Water, Fire & Earth as well as a few other pieces from Todd. You can also view Serena Mitnik-Miller’s block prints within the same space. The Mills Building is located at 220 Montgomery Street, Suite 825. Call and make an appointment: 415.981.9000.
