We’re thinking everyone should just throw a @VansParkSeries webcast party Friday night/into Saturday. Maybe try a family-friendly drinking game where you slam a 12oz. carbonated beverage of your choice every time someone does a frontside air? The winner is the person who hasn’t peed their pants (because with the line up that’s skating this contest there’s no way in hell you’re gonna want to take a bathroom break.). Watch all the action at VansParkSeries.com
• @toddfrancisart for this years @vansparkseries, formerly the van doren invitational which starts this weekend on saturday, april 16th in melbourne, australia. todd did all of the artwork that'll be threaded throughout the 5 city contest. check their site, vansparkseries.com for full details along with webcast info. @vans @vansskate
Happy 50th to Vans!
Todd Francis and I were honored to fly out to Austin, Texas to work with the fine folks at No Comply for an afternoon showing of some of Todd's various visual offerings. Thanks to Elias, Josh and the No Comply family and everyone who came out. It was great to meet you all! Thanks also to Zach and Eladio at Vans along with Kimmy for working with us on this shindig with one of the best skateboard shops out there. The installation is up until April so go and check it out and support skateboarder owned shops.
Todd Francis has an upcoming mid-day event at No Comply in Austin, Texas during SXSW, hosted by Vans. Original artwork along with his book, "Look Away" (Wins Publishing), his signature enamel pin by The Rubbish Rubbish, prints from his, "Thanks A Lot" exhibit and a custom t-shirt and mug for this event will be available.
Oh yeah, Todd will be there too so give him a hug, feed him a waffle, pour him a cup of joe and get him to sign something cruddy for yourself.

The Vans event for Antihero and Todd Francis, at the best shop in Vancouver (Antisocial Skate Shop) was an awesome single evening event and both Todd and I had a great time working with everyone involved. Special thanks to Michelle (Antisocial), Alex (Vans Canada), Kevin (Supra Dist), Stefan (Vans Canada... get well soon, bud!), David (Vans Canada) and everyone else at the shop and from the Vans family. We'll be back soon...Aloha!
